During my time as an accountant CPA working in insolvency I witnessed a common theme amongst business owners. They were of the assumptions that by having a bookkeeper and a taxation accountant their finances were being taken care of.

It was this assumption that resulted in many businesses lose everything as there was nobody who was focussed on:

  • managing the day to day cash flow of the business
  • what the profit goal for the business was and the plan for how to reach it
  • setting up bank accounts and systems and processes to create a healthy money environment for their money to thrive in
  • clarity around the business owner’s personal finances and how much they needed to be paid to be living the life they wanted now as well as in retirement
  • understanding the business owner’s relationship with money and the money blocks that were there holding them back from being able to show up and take responsibility for their finances

See your bookkeeper is responsible for making sure the data in Xero is up to date and accurate whilst your taxation accountant is responsible for your taxation strategy and that you meet your tax obligations.

But everything else is your responsibility as CEO until you reach a stage in your business where it’s time for you to engage a CFO. Until then you are the CFO of your business and these tasks and actions become your responsibility.

It’s your responsibility to set your profit goal, to create your financial plan for how you’ll reach your profit goal, the day to day cash flow management and making the strategic financial decisions.

  • DEEP DIVE FINANCIAL ANALYSIS of your current financial position performed by Natalie to give you an understanding of what your current financial position is, what’s working, what’s not working, review of your current offerings and where the opportunities and threats are in your business.   • 3 HOUR ROADMAP SESSION in person or over Zoom where we go all in for 3 hours. During this session Natalie will go through her insights from her financial analysis of your business. You will also get clear on what your vision for your business and life is, what your goals are and how your relationship with money is potentially holding you back. As well as what areas of your life and wellbeing you want to be focusing on over the next 4 months so you can start creating your path to a more balanced and fulfilled way of living.
  • YOUR FINANCIAL ROADMAP created by Natalie that includes your financial strategy, 12 month Profit Model which is a breakdown of your income and expenses broken down month by month, your Revenue Strategy and cash flow management system. So you can confidently manage your cash flow and keep track of how your business is performing throughout the year and ensure that you’re moving towards your profit goal.
  • MONTHLY 60 MINUTE 1:1 SUPPORT CALLS these will be a mix of strategy, consulting, mentoring, mindset and energetics depending on what you need to move your business forward towards your goals. As well as reflecting on you, your wellbeing and making sure you’re moving towards the life path you desire.
  • MONTHLY REVIEW AND ANALYSIS OF YOUR FINANCIAL STATEMENTS prior to your monthly calls I will review and analyse your end of month results and discuss my findings with you so we can use those as a basis for setting the following month’s goals and action steps.
  • UNLIMITED EMAIL & PHONE SUPPORT IN BETWEEN SESSIONS you have me in your corner for whenever you need support in between sessions. Here you can send me any questions, ask for feedback on, celebrate your wins, talk through blocks that have come up or decisions that need to be made so you can keep moving forward in between sessions (Tuesday to Thursday).
